This project is a conceptual piece exploring how living beings perceive religion and the act of idolising a figure as a higher or divine being. It reflects on humanity’s tendency to find meaning, faith, and fascination through icons, spiritual or cultural. While the idea plays with sacred and symbolic themes in a bold way, it is purely a creative expression and not meant to offend or challenge any belief. Its intention is to provoke thought, not controversy.
In a future where Earth lies in ruins, a lone space explorer discovers a relic from the past – a Michael Jackson disc floating in the vastness of space. Convinced that Michael Jackson was the God as people were fainting at the sight of him and calling him “King of Pop” of the now-destroyed planet Earth, the explorer brings this revelation treasure back to his own planet.
Inspired by the timeless lessons of the King of Pop, the explorer becomes a cultural ambassador, spreading the teachings of Michael Jackson to his own people. Through the power of music, dance, and the philosophy embodied in Michael Jackson’s art, the explorer aims to revive a sense of unity, joy, and compassion on his home planet, drawing parallels between their own struggles and the resilience of the long-lost Earth.
